A funeral service was held Saturday at the Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson, Okla., for Michael Shane Lyons Jr., 35, of Lone Grove, Okla. The former Hughson resident died March 2, 2010.
Born Sept. 5, 1974, Michael was raised in Hughson and moved to Oklahoma a few years ago. He was a carpenter for many years and worked as a tattoo artist for the last couple.
He leaves behind his wife of 16 years, Carie Lyons of Lone Grove, Okla.; his daughters, Riki Lyons and Myki Lyns; his parents, Michael and Renee Lyons of Ceres, and Paula Dodd of Modesto; his sister, Chrystal Dodd of Modesto; his brothers, David Dodd of Marietta, Okla., Tim Dodd of Ardmore, Okla., J.J. Hammonds of Ceres, and Zachary Lyons of Hughson. He was preceded in death by brother Jimmie Dodd and father Bill Dodd.
