A celebration of life will be from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the family residence, 2416 Rose Ave., Ceres, for Norma Jean Hudson Bughi, 72, of Ceres. She died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006 at her home.

Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Born July 7, 1933, Mrs. Bughi was a native of Decatur, Texas, and had lived in Ceres since 1970. She previously had lived in Modesto since 1961. Mrs. Bughi was a food processor for 30 years at Del Monte Foods. She was a member of Teamsters union Local 948, and enjoyed reading, camping, crafts and gardening.

Mrs. Bughi leaves behind her husband, Richard Alan Bughi of Ceres; six children, Robert E. Goff, Benjamin H. Goff Jr., Michael A. Bughi and Mari F. Bughi-Prickett, all of Modesto, Victoria L. Goff-Bryant of Beattyville, Ky., and Vanessa M. Bughi Cartwright of Ceres; and 11grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James L. Goff; and one brother.
