A funeral was held Tuesday at Allen Mortuary for Ora Mae McDaniels Harris, 95, of Turlock. She died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004 at Elness Convalescent Hospital.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 2, 1909, Mrs. Harris was a native of Finley, Okla., and had lived in Turlock since 2000. She previously had lived in Ceres from 1979-2000, Turlock from 1946-79 and San Pedro from 1943-46. Mrs. Harris was a teacher and a member of Harvest Presbyterian Church in Ceres, where she helped with the youth group. She also belonged to the Ceres chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She leaves behind her son, Clifford Harris of Ceres; her sister, Cleo Tietgren of Lake Isabella; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
