Services were held Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Orbra D. Rogers, 89, of Ceres. He died May 21, 2009 after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Rogers was born Jan. 20, 1920.
He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Dorothy L. Rogers of Ceres; his children, Billy Rogers of Antioch, Jay Rogers of Nampa, Idaho, Wilma Schwartz of San Leandro, and Dorie Morse of Portland, Ore.; his stepchildren, Leon Kinnikin of Haskel, Okla., and Kathy Tiffin of Modesto; two sisters, Betty Cowell of Los Alamos and Mary Hall of Bonneylake, Wash.; and 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Fannie Mae, sons Joe and Lee and infant son, Tommy Dean Rogers, brothers Roy, Ernie, Cecil, Bruce, Burl, and sister Bessie Rounsaville.
