A memorial service was held Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hughson for Patricia Petersen Baker, 81, of Hughson. She died Jan. 28, 2010 peacefully at home surrounded by family.
Born May 9, 1928 Pat was born in Stockton to Zella Mae and Fredrick Petersen. She has one brother, Fred Petersen of Uncertain, Texas. She married Robert Peebles Baker on Feb. 16, 1952 in Modesto. They were married for nearly 58 years. Pat was a homemaker. She loved travel, the outdoors and being at Pinecrest. For 12 years she served faithfully, with her husband, in the Oakland LDS Temple.
She leaves behind her husband, Robert Baker; her children, Cindy Morphy of Denair, Kim Stephens of Hughson, Lynn Hill of Merced and Robert Baker Jr. of Turlock; and 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
