The Neptune Society of Central California in Fresno was in charge of arrangements for Richard N. Shannon, 84, of Hughson. He died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 at English Oaks Convalescent Hospital in Modesto.
Born Dec. 23, 1919, Mr. Shannon was a native of California and lived in Hughson for a year. He was a journeyman electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for more than 50 years. Mr. Shannon was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He leaves behind his wife, Ruth Shannon of Hughson; two children, Kathleen Michener of Modesto and Robert Shannon of Redwood City; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
