A rosary was held on Monday at Salas Brothers Funeral Home in Modesto for Ricky "Flaco" Cardona, 42, of Modesto. He died Feb. 21, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center due to a sudden illness.
A burial Mass was held on Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial was at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Modesto.
Born Sept. 20, 1966 in Ceres, Ricky was a lifelong resident of Modesto.
He leaves behind his daughter, Samantha Cardona; his companion, Wendy Magano; his mother, Dominga Losoya; his stepfather, Pablo Portillo; two brothers, Eddie and Danny Cardona of Modesto; three sisters, Linda Cardona of Modesto, Leticia Alvarez and Rosalinda Rocha of Ceres; He was preceded in death by his father, Lalo.
