A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on July 11 at the Colony Park Mobilehome Estates clubhouse, 3939 Central Avenue, Ceres, for Robert James Gibbons Sr., 47, of Ceres. He died June 28, 2011 following a brief illness.
Born May 25, 1964 in San Mateo, Robert was a lifelong Ceres resident. He drove trucks during his lifetime.
He leaves behind his wife, Vivian Gibbons of Ceres; his three children, Rebecca Shirley, Iola Perez and Robert Gibbons; his father, Rubert Gibbons of Ceres; two brothers, Rubert Gibbons Jr. of Ceres and Frankie Gibbons of Oregon; two sisters, Nedett Horn of Arkansas and Debbie Gibbons of Oregon; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by mother Karen Gibbons.
