A funeral service was held Aug. 19 at Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio, Texas, for former Ceres resident Robert Wayne Fox, 68. He died Saturday, August 13, 2005 in San Antonio, Texas.
Interment was at Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
Born March 13, 1937 in Wooster, Ohio, Mr. Fox was a 1955 Ceres High School graduate. He was a Porsche mechanic at Porsche Express which he founded in Ceres in 1976 prior to moving to Texas after retirement. Mr. Fox loved music and was a talented drummer. He was a member of the Western Swing Society, NRA and Moose Lodge.
He leaves behind his wife, Helen Fox of San Antonio, Texas; three children, Doug Fox, Karyn Fox and Sydney Lyons; two brothers, Russell Fox and Everett Fox; his sister, Donna Rowell; and six grandchildren.
