A Mass was held Tuesday at St. Jude's Catholic Church for Sergio Tejeda Salcido, 14, of Ceres. He died Nov. 25, 2005 from injuries sustained in a Nov. 20 accident in the Sacramento area.
Eaton Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Burial was in Mexico.
Born Dec. 14, 1990, Sergio was a native of Mexico and lived in Ceres for six years. He was a student at Central Valley High School. Sergio was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.
He leaves behind his parents, Sergio and Maria Salcido of Ceres; three brothers, Armondo Salcido, Robert Salcido and Steven Salcido, all of Ceres; his sister, Maricela Salcido of Ceres; and his grandparents, Serafin Salcido Gutierrez, Esther Torres Zambrano, Antonio Tejeda Barajas and Maria Trinidad Cabrera Gonzalez, all of Mexico.
