A celebration of life was held Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Stephanie Lynell "Annie" Blount Nilsson, 38, of Modesto. She died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004 in an automobile accident at Hatch and Mitchell roads in Ceres.

Burial arrangements were handled by Lakewood Funeral Home.

Born July 6, 1966, Mrs. Nilsson was a native of Turlock and lived in Modesto for nine years. She was a laboratory assistant at Qwest Diagnostics of Dublin, and had worked the last year at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Nilsson served in the Navy as a corpsman.

She leaves behind her husband, Eric Nilsson of Modesto; two daughters, Kirsten and Carmen Nilsson, both of Modesto; her mother and stepfather, Wilma Bartlett and Robert Carey Bartlett of Denair; her father and stepmother, Stephen B. Blount and Debbie Blount of Oakdale; two sisters, Sherry Tanis and Diane Elledge, both of Hughson; and her grandmother, Edith Thompson of Turlock.
