A funeral service was held Saturday at Valley Hope Community Church in Turlock for Timothy Lee Crownover, 54. He died Feb. 19, 2012 in Oakdale.

Private burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Allen Mortuary.

Born Aug. 9, 1957 in Ceres, Tim was a great athlete who played baseball for George Costa in Ceres as a youth. Mr. Crownover was known as a master carpenter who could build anything. He was known for his dry sense of humor and guitar playing.

He leaves behind his daughters, Michelle Millard and Samantha Crownover; his sisters, Donna Harlan, Barbara Sweet and Diane Rayburn; his grandchildren, Cattilaya Millard and Timothy James Crownover-Voz; his companion of seven years, Cristy and her children Tifany, Trinity and Trever. He was preceded in death by parents Wanda and Don Crownover.

Remembrances may be sent to the Tim Crownover Memorial Fund at Turlock Commerce Bank.
