A funeral service will be held at Church of the East, Mar Addai at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 for Victoria G. Yousif, 86, of Ceres. She died Oct. 25, 2009 in Daly City.
Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park under the arrangements of Allen Mortuary.
Born February 1923 in Mosul, Iraq, to Yacob and Hayat, Victoria lived in Kirkuk and Bagdad, Iraq, and San Jose before settling in Ceres in 2004. She was a member of The Assyrian Church of the East. God and family were her life.
She leaves behind her children, Juliet David, Peious Yoseph, Jeany Tammo, Margaret Yousif, Almas Yousif and Romi Joseph; and 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Eramia Yousif.
