A celebration of life was held Monday at Big Valley Grace Community Church in Modesto for William "Bill" White, 60, of Sonora. The former Ceres resident died on March 16, 2012.
Born August 18, 1951 in Modesto, Bill was a 1969 graduate of Ceres High School who served in the Army. He has lived in Sonora for the past several years. Bill enjoyed life and was adventurous and loved to travel and being involved in his community.
He leaves behind his wife, Diane White of Sonora; two daughters, Terra Lemke and Robin Cox; his mother, Mary White; his father and stepmother, Bob and Kathy White; his half-sister, Darrelyn Bray-Casey; his half-brother, Gordon Bray; and four grandchildren, three stepchildren, and seven step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Judi White Uthe.
