A graveside service was held Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park for William "Bill" Colosimo, 85, of Denair died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center, Modesto.
The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
A memorial Mass was held Thursday at St. Leander's Catholic Church in San Leandro.
Born Sept. 12, 1919, Mr. Colosimo was a native of Wheeling, W.Va., and lived in Denair for a year. He was coowner of Wholesale Leather Goods and Shoe Findings Business for 45 years. Mr. Colosimo was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson, Fratellanza Club, Young Men's Institute Council 6 of Oakland and the Americal Division of Veteran's Association. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves behind his wife, Rina Colosimo of Denair; three brothers, Leonard Colosimo of Rohnert Park, Duane Colosimo of San Leandro and Father Eugene Colosimo of Los Gatos; and his sister, Helen Currigan of San Leandro. He was preceded in death by one sister.
