The deplorable acts of brutality and thuggery – which included trampling the elderly and batoning children -- displayed by Justin Castro-Trudeau’s jackbooted henchmen in the streets of Ottawa underscores the very face of tyranny we confront in America today.
The truck drivers’ Freedom Convoy threatened no one, engaged in no violence, and was no more disruptive to the social order than our civil rights demonstrations in the 1960s, which are now heralded as the textbook examples of civil disobedience. The truckers burned no buildings, looted no stores, sacked no police precincts, tore down no statues, and assaulted no innocents in their three-week peaceful demonstrations. And, yet, law enforcement in Ottawa was hijacked by Castro-Trudeau and used – in an illegal fashion – to crush the convoy.
Contrast that to the more than 500 American cities burned and pillaged in the spring and summer of 2020 in the wake of the George Floyd killing which was merely a smokescreen conjured up by the globalists to destabilize the Trump Administration. In the U.S., bail funds for the rioters were set up and funded by American politicians like Kamala Harris while no one hears mention of prosecuting the perpetrators for their crimes. No, only individuals trespassing at the Capitol on January 6 are tossed into prison, held without charge for over a year, and tortured. Sadly, the Canadian truckers now face the same fate.
Canada and the United States – first cousins in so many ways – are now storming down a Stalinist course.
Senile Joe Biden and his illegitimate communist occupation regime in Washington are engaging in the most far-reaching and unconstitutional suppression of political liberties in our history. Far beyond the Alien and Sedition Acts. Far beyond Democrat despot Woodrow Wilson’s crackdown against socialists and other opponents of World War I in 1917-18.
We know that Biden’s controllers are determined to use COVID and January 6 as excuses to impose a permanent tyranny upon American citizens. He has quietly extended his “emergency” COVID powers due to have expired in March. He has pushed forward with his vaccine mandates despite being slapped down by the Supreme Court. The CDC has no intention of permitting you to unmask your children in school, ever. You will also be wearing masks on planes forever. And, be prepared for another Chinese virus – possibly concocted in the Fauci-funded Wuhan lab – to return for an encore performance with the returning Olympic athletes. How convenient!
More seriously, this regime has simply shredded the Bill of Rights, especially the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments. It only selectively enforces the laws it wants to enforce. It refuses to secure our southern border -- despite pleas from border states and court rulings – in order to create a new population of dependent and docile subjects of the regime. It imprisons political opponents, uses the media and Big Tech to censor and abolish free speech, and creates new government agencies to chase down and prosecute critics of the regime. The woke military is now enlisted to purge its ranks of patriots and Trump supporters. Freezing bank accounts and confiscating private property – Canadian-style—can’t be far off.
Your phone calls, texts, emails and Facebook posts are monitored in a way that would make any totalitarian proud. The FBI was been dismantled as a law enforcement agency and now is little more than a secret police force that sets up false flags and persecutes anyone who might wear a MAGA hat, fly a Trump flag or speak out at a school board meeting. Judges are appointed who are regime hacks, whose philosophy of justice could have been found in 1935 Germany.
Canada has experienced the final descent into dictatorship first. Without a system of checks and balances or a Bill of Rights ( the Canadian Charter of Freedom and Rights is a weak imitation that only came into effect in 1982 and speaks of “reasonable limits” to the freedoms it claims to protect ), it was more vulnerable to a frontal assault by the Son of Fidel.
However, can the United States of America be far beyond? The current occupation regime has made it crystal clear that it does not respect the rule of law or consider itself bound to the Constitution. It defies the courts so it has also destroyed checks and balances. One of America’s two major political parties is now a Bolshevik Party that replaces Jefferson and Jackson with Lenin and Trotsky. The other party – the Republicans – is feckless and largely impotent, itself bought off and largely controlled by the same sinister globalist and corporate elites which underwrite the Democrat Party. Stripped of Donald Trump and the Trump faction within the Party, the GOP would be a reliable foot soldier in the fight for the New World Order, Great Reset or whatever euphemism for global dictatorship the ruling elites are using at the moment.
Quo vadis? Where are we going? It is beyond doubt that the battle lines in the fight for freedom have moved to the states, counties, and cities. This is where the final stand must be made. It will come down to whether governors, mayors, county supervisors and executives, and county sheriffs will resist. Will they refuse unconstitutional and illegal orders from the central government in Washington, D.C.? Will they refuse to fire on peaceful American citizens? Will they forbid federal troops and tanks from entering their states? Will they organize new state and county militias to resist federal tyranny? Or, as in Canada, will law enforcement be weaponized against its own people, to snuff out finally and permanently the last breaths of freedom in their souls?
We are entering the most dangerous period in our history, more dangerous than the War for Independence or the Civil War, because at least then we were still a society with common values, based on Western Christian civilization and culture. That’s no longer the case ( and hasn’t been for decades ) and can a nation so divided against itself long stand?
