President Joe Biden was successful in one thing: Helping to tear the country apart by allowing an influx at 12 million to 14 million immigrants from south of the border who have no intention learning English, American history or becoming assimilated into American culture; and only here for one reason and that is to tap into our economic prosperity built by centuries of hard work and American ingenuity.
A significant portion of those illegal immigrants are criminals who have stole, killed, raped and sold drugs that killed.
The constituency of the Democrat Party of today is illegal immigrants for whom they strive to provide benefits and privileges like drivers’ licenses and housing assistance. Their next goal is to move them into a column of voters allow since their radical policies are quickly driving away mainstream Democrats.
The fact that Democrats don’t even condemn the deportation of folks with violent criminal histories is all you need to know their priorities are not with those of us who are rightful U.S. citizens.
The sight of Mexican nationals flying the American flag, being belligerent and throwing rocks at American police cars was more than upsetting to the patriotic American. Their antics will help further galvanize the American public to support candidates who won’t allow this unbridled immigration to happen again. Hopefully the violent protests also take down Democrat politicians like Newsom who has made a career of being anti-law enforcement while creating California as a magnet state for illegal aliens. Every one of his policies have failed and he only drills down deeper into them to pander to those who have no allegiance to the USA.

Did you know that air pollution is racist? KFF Health News, a national newsroom that produces slanted journalism about health issues and ascribes to woke beliefs, wrote a piece about asthma in California. Of course, the intention of the article is to highlight “environmental justice” and continue with the libs-in-media narrative that the Orange Man is bad.
Miranda Green authored the piece: “In a dusty corner of California, Trump’s threatened cuts to asthma care raise fears.” (Leftist media strives to instill fear or create it when it doesn’t exist.) Specifically, Green focuses on the group Comite Civico del Valle, which trains healthcare workers to educate patients on proper asthma management, enabling them to avoid hospitalization and eliminate triggers at home. But – and here where Trump is made out to be the bad guy – the group’s Asthma Management Academy program is “threatened” by the Trump administration’s “mass layoffs, grant cancellations, and proposed budget cuts at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Environmental Protection Agency.” Green concludes: “Asthma experts fear the cumulative impact of the reductions could result in more ER visits and deaths, particularly for children and people in low-income communities — populations disproportionately vulnerable to the disease.” She throws in a quote by Esther Bejarano: “Asthma is a preventive condition. No one should die of asthma.”
I think we’d all agree that nobody should die of asthma but after reading this piece you’d think a person couldn’t function without Uncle Sam cranking out dollars from his deficit spending account for groups that are, in some cases, fronts for Democrat activists. If someone has asthma can’t they educate themselves on ways to deal with the condition without federal dollars? After all, the internet is rife with free information!
It’s always a matter of follow the money and the ones being defunded scream the loudest.
There’s also this idea: Move to where the air is cleaner than in California.
Green’s Trump hit piece goes on: “Asthma disproportionately affects communities of color because of ‘historic structural issues,’ said Lynda Mitchell, CEO of the Asthma and Allergy Network, citing a higher likelihood of living in public housing or near highways and other pollution sources.”
Because you know, of course, no white people live along freeways (spare me).
The media is complicit in the steady drumbeat narrative that Trump is evil and a bad man but I believe most intelligent people realize what they’re up to. Who would ever think that a president who wants to curb the size and appetite for more and more tax dollars would ever have to face the onslaught that Donald Trump has?

Some readers – obviously who don’t like what I have to say – question why my column takes up so much space in the Courier.
The first explanation is I have a lot to say. I have invited others in the community to write columns but since we can’t pay, nobody has taken me up on it. Thus, I need to fill our opinion pages somehow.
I suspect nobody is willing to put in the time, research and thought to write a column.
On a positive note, I’ve heard from multiple readers that my column is the first thing they open the newspaper up to read.
I received an email on June 16 from an individual who was supportive. He didn’t ask me to publish it in the Courier as a letter to the editor so I decided to include it in my column with only mentioning his initials. DH emailed: “This is the first time I’ve sat down and took time to read your column. It made me sad to think of all the columns I missed out on. My wife and I have lived in Ceres for six years. I’ve noticed this city has been going downhill year by year. What you’ve written in your article is very informative. I will be honest in saying I truly believe our present city council does not give a s- - - about the people of Ceres.
“I live on Christmas Tree Lane and we have been lied to so many times that the residents don’t even show up for the meetings the city has for the lane. I wish we could get find or get a council who work for the people of Ceres. We truly need change. Thank you for your time and columns.”
The City Council now wants the city manager to write a monthly report to inform the council of the goings-on in Ceres. I feel we have been reporting quite well the things going on it Ceres. It used to be that people felt obligated to read the local newspaper and find out what is taking place. Fewer and fewer people read materials, let alone the Courier.
We are a resource. I wish ya’ll would recognize that!

What is scary to me is that somebody is giving the national news media code words and talking points. If we have intelligent, free-thinking people in our TV news rooms, one would think they wouldn’t parrot each other and might come up with their own assortment of words to tell a story.
Case in point: More than 30 of them used the same term, “Maryland man,” when referring to illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia, whom ICE officials and deported to a Salvadoran prison earlier this year, against orders from a U.S. court. Not one framed it as “Maryland resident” or “undocumented man living in Maryland” or “Salvadoran national” or “MS-13 gang member.” No, they all unabashedly used the same term “Maryland man.” Of course, the intent was to made him out to be an innocent middle-class American dad who was wrongly arrested and deported without due process.
As The Hill stated: “The unwillingness to distinguish between lawful and unlawful immigration — or perhaps the inability to do so, based on political changes to journalistic style guides — seems to have corrupted the media’s ability to tell this story at all.”
How many times did we hear the media repeat (like trained parrots) that the L.A. riots were “mostly peaceful protests”? Didn’t we heard that same phrase in the summer of 2020 when Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters were torching police cars and buildings?
Someone counted how many times the cable news anchors and reporters on CNN and MSNBC said “peaceful protests” and the answer was 211!

Oh the hypocrisy! Or shall I say, oh what stubbornness that reigns in Sacramento that can be overcome with political pressure.!
In February, Assembly Democrats rejected Republican sponsored amendments that would have stopped taxpayer-funded legal aid from going to undocumented immigrants convicted of serious or violent crimes.
During floor debate in the winter, Republicans, led by state Assemblywoman Leticia Castillo (R-Corona), forced votes to: 1). Bar taxpayer-funded legal aid for undocumented immigrants with felony convictions; and 2). prohibit public funds from covering deportation defense for serious or violent crimes.
Democrats voted it down in February! The $50 million legal aid fund passed without conditions!
Instead of saying they were wrong, Democrats have quietly had a change of heart. On June 13 CalMatters wrote: “After a fiery debate months ago over services for immigrants, California Democrats are quietly responding to Republican criticism by restricting immigrants convicted of certain crimes from accessing a state-supported legal defense fund.”
Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher relished in exposing their two-facedness, saying the “total reversal is “proof that public pressure works.” He added: “Californians deserve to know who stood for common sense and who stood with felons.”

Why do so many of these Democrats feel the need to hold onto power far past retirement age?
At age 86, Rep. Maxine Waters will probably die in office. Being that old does not make her wise. In fact, she has to be one of the dumbest members of Congress with the insane things she says.
Now we are getting word that Anna Caballero, Ceres’ former state senator, wants to get elected as state treasurer. Of course. The 70-year-old is being termed out of office and needs something else to do.
Why not go home and enjoy life before your ticket is punched? Would you not be so fulfilled doing what the rest of us do – and that’s retire, travel and spend time with the grandkids? It’ll be okay, Anna, we will be just fine without you holding office as a Democrat in California.
God only knows there’s a bumper crop of young skulls full of mush to carry on your progressive ways.

Why is there such wickedness growing in the hearts of young people who, due to their youthfulness, should be a bit more innocent?
Two boys aged 14 and 15 are now charged with stomping to death a 66-year-old man while he was sleeping on the ground outside of a church in Oxnard. The two rotten punks stomped the head and face of Davy Glen Pichel who only got around by wheelchair.
Such heinous acts are hard to comprehend. And to think they decided to return and stomp him two more times because they were having so much fun.
Youthful or not, let’s hope the justice system puts these two evil beings behind bars for decades.
