Is there something in the water in Sacramento that makes legislators lose their cotton-picking minds?
California State Senator and Senate Judiciary Committee chair Hannah-Beth Jackson (D-Santa Barbara) said she’s banning the use of gender specific “he” and “she” in committee hearings. What to use now? She wants to use “they”!
Jackson admitted that even her English teacher would have had a “heart attack” using the phrase “they” and replacing other designations for a gender neutral designation. But, she said, since her English teacher is gone, oh well.
Okay, so, wow, what do you do with something like that? Let it go or tell her she’s lost her sensibilities? Californians should write her and let her know. Here’s her address: Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, State Capitol, Room 2032, Sacramento CA 95814.
The next time a clerk tells me, “Have a good day, sir,” I’m going to have to wag my finger at them and saying, “Shame on you – I’m an ‘it,’ or a ‘they.’ Get with the program.”
Jackson’s ludicrous action follows the Democrat-led action to go with insane political correctness and pass SB179, the Gender Recognition Act, which allows Californians to select an “Option X” or “non-binary” option on drivers licenses, birth certificates, marriage licenses, and other-state issued documents. Twenty-six Democrats voted for it, Republicans Anderson, Bates, Berryhill, Cannella, Fuller, Gaines, Hueso, Moorlach, Morrell, Nguyen, Nielsen, Stone, Vidak, Wilk against it.
Why do a few altered thinking individuals get to dictate to the rest of us what we know to be normal from time immemorial?
I get that Hollywood thinks it’s just fantastic that Bruce Jenner, the male Olympic track hero, now has breasts and pretends to be a woman – and one freakishly ugly one at that. I also get that the kings of Silicon Valley have effectively scrubbed history by eliminating references to the track star (google Bruce Jenner and “Caitlyn Jenner” pops up). The truth is that Bruce Jenner exists and he’s masquerading as a woman in drag. The rest of us are just supposed to go along with this kookiness, and walk in lockstep at this revisionism and disrespect the dictates of biology? Jenner cannot flush from his body his male DNA, male bone structure, male physiology and will always be male, even if his delusions fool himself into believing otherwise. It’s sad that spineless lawmakers give into this PC bull.
The rest of the country is laughing at California – moreover the voters who keep electing officials who foist this upon us.

Making its rounds on social media is a montage of famous Democrats calling for the need for strict border security. They include the following quotes:
“If making it easy to be an illegal alien isn’t enough how about offering a reward for being an illegal immigrant. No sane country would do that, right? Guess again. If you break our laws by entering this country without permission and give birth to a child, we reward that child with U.S. citizenship and guarantee a full access to all public and social services this society provides.”
Who said that? Ted Cruz? Herman Cain? No, liberal former U.S. Senator Harry Reid.
Who said this? “It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must do more to stop it.”
President Trump? No – Bill Clinton in his 1995 State of the Union address.
Try this one on for size: “I think we should enforce our borders. To have a situation where 40 percent of the babies born on Medicaid in California today are born of illegal immigrants creates a very real problem for the state… to have 17 percent of our prison population at a cost of $300 million a year, the illegal immigrants who come here and commit felonies, that’s not what this nation is all about.”
Who said it? Mitchell McConnell? Marco Rubio? Nope, Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Or this: “I’m deeply opposed to illegal immigration. I call on the federal government, the president and immigration services to stop the in flood of illegal immigrants into this country.” This was uttered by Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s running mate.
There’s this: “I voted numerous times when I was a senator to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in and I do think you have to control your borders.” Hillary Clinton, Nov. 9, 2015.
“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United State undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants in this country.” Not George W. Bush but Barack Obama, 2005.
My favorite hypocrite Democrat, Senator Chuck Schumer, said this in 2009: “…“Illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple. Until the American people are convinced we will stop future flows of illegal immigration, we will make no progress.”
Perhaps the 180-degree flip was because some sleazy Democrat political operative called them together in a smoke-filled backroom at the Capitol and lectured them that: “Hey folks, back off from your stand against illegal immigrants. Can’t you see what’s happening? This flood of immigrants who jump the border is good for our party. These immigrants will thank you for life and vote for Democrats because we give these people all the freebies our party gives them. We’re locking up this country for our party so knock it off with the tough on illegal immigration talk. California is ours now and we’ll have the country soon!”

So it seems the government shutdown cost over $3 billion – all because the Democrats wouldn’t appropriate $5 billion for the border wall. Help me with understanding this insanity. They’d rather flush $3 billion down the drain than put that towards a wall. Doesn’t that make your blood boil as a taxpayer when you’re trying to cough up that $300 or $1,000 or $1,500 to pay your tax bill?

I love to spend time on YouTube and I stumbled across Ronald Reagan’s March 1975 appearance on the Johnny Carson show. He spoke of the need to cap government spending to a certain percentage relating to Americans’ income. Reagan told Carson “When you and I were boys back in the Midwest, governments – federal, state and local – were only taking 15 cents out of every dollar earned. Today they’re taking almost half of every dollar earned in the United States.”
That was 1975. Now we have socialists newly-elected socialist Congress ‘they’ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggesting that the wealthiest pay 75 cents out of every dollar. Talk about raping the American taxpayer!
Speaking of “rape,” she expects the wealthiest to enjoy it. She suggested that all of us should “enjoy being exhausted for the next two years while we ‘run train’ on the progressive agenda.” “Run train” is a euphemism for gang-rape.
Enjoy it? She may think a gang rape is enjoyable but the rest of us wonder what in the hell just happened to our country with the election of her ilk.

Here is some more liberal lunacy, right here in our backyard in Sacramento. That governor we had – the one who pardoned thousands just before the bleeding heart left office – signed a bill back in October that makes knowingly exposing others to HIV will no longer be a felony. Now giving someone a life threatening disease is only a misdemeanor.
Not only that but SB 239 also applies to those who give blood without telling the blood bank that they are HIV-positive.
Democrats Scott Wiener and Todd Gloria say it’s okay now because we have medicine to where now you may not die if you get HIV. Republican like state Senator Joel Anderson offered the true voice of reason on this bill, saying, “I’m of the mind that if you purposely inflict another with a disease that alters their lifestyle the rest of their life, puts them on a regimen of medications to maintain any kind of normalcy, it should be a felony.”
Democrats truly embrace a culture of death and irresponsibility. The lone exception would be when you’re a thug and get killed by a white cop; then you’re a martyr for your crimes.

Speaking of the culture of death, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo wants to allow abortion up until the final days of a pregnancy. (Maybe he and Josh Harder ought to compare notes.)
Cuomo is supposedly a Catholic so his political stand is a diabolical treason to his own faith community. But making matters worse is that Gov. Cuomo signed a far-reaching bill that also strikes down an existing law, section 4164 of NY’s Public Health Law, which mandated medical care for any baby born alive during an abortion. To have the New York legislature cheer the legislation condoning the practice of infanticade is an abomination that should all who value life grieve.
Do you think God approves? I don’t.

While the immigration debate rages on, the U.S. Census confirms that 63 percent of “non-citizens” living in the United States are on welfare – specifically 4,684,784 households of which the majority have one worker in the family. By comparison, only 35 percent of native-headed households tapped into welfare programs.
This information comes from a Washington Examiner story published Dec. 3.
And the Left like Kamala Harris wonder why the president wants to let people into the country based on merit, on how they would contribute to life her, and not become needy takers.

Meanwhile the national debt continues to rise out of control. We’re at nearly $22 trillion and rising. It’s scary, folks. Visit usdebtclock.org to see it.

Government has so many problems to tackle; yet our humorless and always offended world seems to wallow in a cesspool of Jerry Springer issues and Twitter debris. There are zero allowances for any deviation from political correctness. Justice is swift and expected. It’s off with their heads.
So when I read about the Florida Secretary of State resigning because a 14-year-old photo cropped up of him wearing blackface, I wasn’t the least bit surprised. I was pretty sure Mike Ertel was a Republican because the media concentrates on targeting his kind. It’s gotcha politics at work. Plus he’s white so that makes him a trophy head to hang on the wall. True to my suspicions, Ertel is Republican.
We’re talking a 2005 photo at a Halloween party for crying out loud. Blackface performance made Al Jolson famous and rich! And this one photo cost Ertel his job? If this happened after he assumed office I’d say he would only be guilty of bad judgement but this was a photo older than a decade! How many of us have had lapses in judgement in past years? Answer: All.
I shouldn’t be surprised since the Leftist media was swift in their crucifixion of Bret Kavanaugh over unprovable allegations of when he was 17. I know lots of people – media folks included – who would not pass the media sniff test if they knew of past behaviors.

Are you kidding me? Tom Brokow justifiably said that Hispanics should “work harder at assimilation” and had to back track his remarks?
Brokow retracted, saying “[I] feel terrible a part of my comments on Hispanics offended some members of that proud culture.”
Whoa there. Immigrants can hold onto their heritage while assimilating into their adopted homeland of the United States of America. That includes learning and using the language of the nation – English – and flying the American flag since this is American soil. If someone thinks America is great enough to live in, immigrants should learn its history, adapt to its culture and traditions and obey all laws of this nation and not seek to change the country to suit their constituencies. Embrace America if you’re here. Our heritage need to be treated with respect and awe.
No, Tom Brokow should not have apologized despite what the PC police tells him.

So many of us knew that Kamala Harris wasn’t really interested in serving six years in the U.S. Senate since taking office 758 days ago. Despite spending millions to gain a seat to serve six years, she now wants to bail on her commitment to be president. I knew hers was about a quick political ladder climb like her mentor Barack. It’s right out of the Obama playbook, who bailed on his Senate term after three years and ran for president.
She offers his same socialist swill too.
