It's an honor being Citizen of the Year'

Editor, Ceres Courier,

It is with great honor that I take this moment to thank the Ceres Chamber of Commerce for bestowing upon me the 2011 Ceres Citizen of the Year. The individuals who have previously received this recognition have greatly influenced our community and our lives both directly and indirectly from their collective efforts. I am humbled to be included with such a fine list of community leaders.

I am deeply touched by those whom submitted my name as a possible recipient. There is no question how much I love Ceres and our community. My husband and I are very proud to raise our children here and give back to the community that has given so much to us.

I am very fortunate to have had so many experiences through my professional work and my community programs to allow me to interact with so many people who have touched the lives of others. I am honored to be a member of the Soroptimist International of Ceres, an organization where every member lives as an example to others.

Again, I am most grateful for this prestigious honor.

Lisa Mantarro Moore,

Ceres
