Antidepressants can cause violent behaviors

Editor, Ceres Courier,

Please help to prevent the school shooter tragedies by informing your readers of the fact that nearly every shooter has been on (prescription) antidepressants. All such meds carry the same black box warning of increased: ideation of suicide, suicide, violence, homicide - at twice the rate of placebo.

Handgun control is not the answer - not drugging our youth will bring these incidents to an end. Only the severely depressed even improve beyond placebo. Exercise and counseling are more effective at treating / helping the mild to moderately depressed than drugs and are totally safe.

Cheerleaders too racy for parade

Editor, Ceres Courier,

My family and I attended the Turlock Christmas parade. This is an annual event for us and we usually enjoy it to the fullest. This year was quite the opposite when the Stanislaus State cheerleaders came parading by with their behinds hanging out. This was very inappropriate and offensive to us and many others.
