So I just read your article about Prop 50 (”Ceres voters out of step with the rest of county” published Dec. 17).

What’s wonderful about being an American is the ability to choose which party you want to belong to and it should be without being attacked physically or verbally by the opposition. I personally didn’t expect the vote to pass as a “No” because we live in a blue state and everyone needs to accept the way the voting went according to the people’s vote even if it didn’t go the way we wanted it to go.

The bad mouthing and calling people idiots or stupid needs to stop and we all need to act like the Americans we are. The killings of innocent people for their political party and religious beliefs have got to stop. Getting people riled up doesn’t help.

Just my opinion and not that of anyone else.
