The state’s plan to take 40 percent of our water should be alarming to everyone. This will influence our economy, raise the rates we pay for water, and erase our ability to feed and provide produce for much of the nation. Thanks to Denham and his recently passed amendments, hopefully we’ll never have to cross that bridge. The two amendments prohibit the federal government from working with California to take our water and, it provides more federal monies for water storage projects. Hopefully, California Democrats get the message that we have Representatives like Denham who will fight them every step of the way and represent what best for the people of our Valley and not Southern California.
