Love Ceres says thanks
a-letter-envelope-5

Editor, Ceres Courier,

On behalf of "Love Ceres" and its project leaders, we would like to thank the community participants who turned and worked towards making a difference in our community.

The concept of "Love Ceres" is to show kindness, improve the lives of others and help make Ceres a better place to work, play and live.

"Love Ceres" was a tremendous success. Whether it was helping collect food and toys, assisted a person in need by providing manual labor, painting over graffiti, or cleaning up parks and neighborhoods, the community banded together for a common cause.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the following businesses and organizations that provided services and/or donations: Casey Moving Systems, Starbucks, Ceres Rotary Club, McDonalds, the Ryno family, Super Mom's, Home Depot, the City of Ceres, Embroidery Plus, Chris Vierra, Diamond Bar Arena, Cost Less Foods.

Pride in a community begins with commitment and a willingness to serve others.

Millard Fuller wrote, "For a community to be whole and healthy, it must be based upon people's love and concern for each other."

Once again, thank you to all who participated and we look forward to April 2016, when we will once again join together to "Love Ceres."

Bryan G. Nicholes,
Becki Nicholes,
Ceres
