President Barack Obama has done more to destroy the American middle class than any president in the nation's history. It is almost as if he has waged war against the country's working families.

In his latest attack on the middle-class, Obama has, through executive order and in an illegal action, offered amnesty to up to five million people who broke the country's immigration laws to come to U.S.

A poverty expert at the Heritage Foundation estimates that the net cost to the nation minus total benefits for taxpayers will be about $2 trillion. It is the middle-class workers who will pay these people's Social Security, Medicare, tax breaks for low-income families, workers' compensation and other benefits. This is one more shameful act by Obama.

By his own mouth, Obama has said on more than 20 occasions that he could not rewrite immigration law. In 2011, Obama told the National Council of La Raza, "Believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you. Not just on immigration reform. But's that's not how our system works. That's not how our democracy (sic -- we live in a republic) functions. That's not how our Constitution is written."

And if that's not enough, in one more knife in the back of the middle class, ObamaCare offers businesses a $3,000 incentive to hire people who have come here illegally over native-born workers. One can't even make up the evil of this president and his administration. It's too bad the national media is too lazy and partisan to hold him accountable.
