Proud of those who came out in defense of CYB
Letter to editor

Editor, Ceres Courier,

I am extremely proud of the Ceres citizenry who all came out to the most recent city council meeting to vent their frustration regarding Ceres Youth Baseball. It made me proud to be a Ceres resident and I learned a lot about the history of this town.

Although I did not get a chance to make my own statement, their statements compelled me to write a plea to the council to revisit all their priorities and put our youth, our trees, and our river first, lest they wish to be removed from the council come next voting round. Take heed of everything and everyone who came out and reach out to us to help make this a better community. I personally have sent grant options from my employer to raise money only to land on deaf ears. Do better.

Alvaro Franco,

Ceres
