Society appreciated help from high school club
Food pantry St Jude
Whitmore Charter School’s Interact Club members helped stock up food at the food pantry of St. Jude Catholic Church in Ceres.

Editor, Ceres Courier,

The St. Vincent de Paul Society food pantry of St. Jude Catholic Church in Ceres received a very generous – and much needed – donation of about 300 boxes of cereal. The Interact Club at Whitmore Charter School led the school-wide cereal drive as part of a community activity. The cereal was delivered to the food pantry by teacher Lauren Moraca and an enthusiastic group of students.

A heartfelt thank-you to all of the participating students for supporting the food pantry. The pantry serves the local community every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
