Teaching respect to her boy
a-letter-envelope-5

Editor, Ceres Courier,

Regarding your piece about the despicable attack, thank you for saying it like it is! I'm 30 years old and considered a "millennial," but I was brought up to respect my elders and obey authority. If parents would teach their children mindfulness, love, and compassion, then the hate can be stopped. My son is three and we're focusing on teaching him love and respect since it is lacking these days among childrenI am so disgusted by the way our system separates us all by class and race to elevate their elite status. It definitely needs to change.

Please keep writing because you're making a difference!

Sarah Ranson,
Ceres
