Veterans appreciate IHOP assistance

Editor, Ceres Courier,

We would really like to thank the new owner of IHOP here in Ceres for letting us have our booth to distribute poppies for the veterans, in memory of those who didn't come home, and in honor of all those who have or are serving. Mr. Kahn, the new owner ,in spite of having a car crash into the restaurant only weeks before, and still in the process of completing repairs, gave us the privilege of having a booth in front of the business. He has a desire to serve the community and really helped us with our project.

The donations given for the poppies go to help veterans in rehabilitation and/or their children and families. We sincerely thank him for his kindness to us.
