Why is Congress dragging its feet on the SAVE Act?
letter

Editor, Ceres Courier,

The U.S. Department of Justice indicted an illegal alien (male) from Africa for illegally voting in seven federal elections in Pennsylvania. He voted in person in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2024, and he voted by mail in 2020. Mahady Sacko voting illegally was a serious crime, but what is worse is the behavior of the person registering him to vote. Was it incompetence or was it fraudulent behavior?

Hundreds of thousands of dead voters and tens of thousands of noncitizens have been found on state voter rolls and duplicate registrations between states.

Harmeet Dhillon, assistant attorney general for civil rights, told “Just the News” that these findings came from less than half of the nation’s voter records.

She is criticizing state elections offices and federal judges who are blocking the review of their voter rolls. Only 16 states have turned over their records, 29 states are facing litigation to force them to comply. The reason some states have refused to comply is because the Biden administration told them not to.

When polled 70 percent to 85 percent of citizens support voter ID or proof of citizenship being required before casting a ballot.

Considering the conditions of the states’ voter rolls, and the fact that American citizens support voter ID, why is Congress dragging its feet in passing the SAVE ACT? Is it because they are lining their pockets with dark money? I understand investor George Soros is handing it out through nonprofit-organizations.
