Ceres High School's varsity volleyball team swept Grace Davis 25-12, 25-18, 25-17 during Thursday's non-conference opener at Phil de la Porte Gymnasium.

"I'm very proud of them," Bulldogs head coach Stephanie Hamilton said. "They played really well."

Bulldog setter Brooke Anderson accumulated 10 assists, two digs and one kill.

Sophomore Valerie Hamilton collected eight aces, four digs, three assists and one kill.

Laura Story tallied five digs, four blocks, three kills, two assists and one ace.

Fulu Tevaseu registered five kills, three aces and one dig.

Dia Borden had five digs and one kill.

Diana Salgado had four aces, three kills and three digs.

"We have a well-rounded team," coach Hamilton said.
