Dolphins place 5th

The Ceres recreational swim club finished in the middle of the pack on Saturday at the Sea Dogs Invitational in Turlock.

The fifth-place Dolphins tallied 380 points.

Originally scheduled for June 28, the nine-team meet was moved to last week due to poor air quality.

"That cost us," Ceres coach Tracy Bull said. "We were missing 12 kids. Those are big points we couldn't have."
