Central Valley’s and Ceres High’s girls wrestling teams traveled to Fresno earlier this month to compete at the Lady Apache Invitational.

Staged at Selland Arena in Fresno, the Jan. 16-17 tournament featured grapplers from 63 different high schools.

The Hawks and Bulldogs placed 24th and 30th, respectively, in the team standings.

Central Valley and Ceres High both claimed two individual medals.

The top eight wrestlers in each weight class were rewarded.
