The Ceres High varsity boys swimming and diving team trounced Grace Davis 137-43 on Thursday in Ceres.
The second-place Bulldogs placed first in 11 of 12 events. They also had eight second, eight third and five fourth-place finishes.
"We killed them," said Ceres senior Eric Scudder.
Added Ceres coach Sue Garcia: "Our boys have done great all season. We have a lot of depth."
Ceres improved to 4-1 in the Modesto Metro Conference.
"We want to maintain or improve that standing at the league championship meet," Garcia said.
Scudder won the 200 IM in 2:11.76 and 100 back in 57.64 seconds. He set a personal record in the 100 back.
"He took two seconds off from the previous meet," Garcia said.
Joey Rossi won the 200 free in 1:58.56 and 500 free in 5:19.76.
James Carswell won the diving competition with a score of 221.45.
Mike Polovin won the 100 free in 57.16 seconds and placed second in the 100 back in 1:06.18.
J.C. Reed won the 50 free in 25.65 seconds and placed third in the 100 breast in 1:13.03.
Vince Wester won the 100 fly in 1:07.59 and placed third in the 100 back in 1:08.62.
Cody Frampton placed second in the 50 free in 26.82 seconds and third in the 100 free in 1:02.23.
Kevin Fliflet placed second in the 500 free in 6:38.41 and third in the 200 IM in 2:40.60.
Jason Winchester placed second in the 100 breast in 1:10.19 and third in the 50 free in 27.52 seconds. He set a personal record in the 100 breast.
"This is his first year swimming," Garcia said. "He's very talented."
Markus Richter placed second in the 100 fly in 1:10.50 and fourth in the 100 breast in 1:14.19.
Max Ottersbach placed second in the 100 free in 1:00.47 and third in diving with 141.60 points.
Ryan Calou placed third in the 200 free in 2:19.50 and fourth in the 100 fly in 1:15.97.
Ricky Heatherly placed fourth in the 200 free in 2:30.50 and 500 free in 7:07.68.
Ceres swept two of the three relay events.
The 200-medley relay team of Polovin, Winchester, Scudder and Rossi placed first in 1:52.29.
The 200-medley relay team of Wester, Reed, Calou and Ottersbach placed second in 1:57.94.
The 200-free relay team of Winchester, Richter, Frampton and Reed placed first in 1:49.10.
The 200-free relay team of Ottersbach, Fliflet, Heatherly and Miguel Castillo placed second in 1:56.75.
The 400-free relay team of Rossi, Wester, Polovin and Scudder placed first in 3:42.52.
The 400-free relay team of Frampton, Calou, Heatherly and Richter placed third in 4:07.87.
