A 28-year-old Ceres woman was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 23 after she was in a verbal argument with her mother and deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Police were called to a residence in the 2400 block of Boothe Road at 7:11 p.m. where a verbal argument was taking place between Rhonya Alawar, 28, of Ceres and her mother. Officers believed Alawar was highly intoxicated from a drug or alcohol. She was arrested and booked on charges of being under the influence and violation of probation.
