Jimmy Gayle, 51, of Ceres, was arrested and booked for drunken driving after he was observed by a Ceres Police officer driving recklessly at the intersection of Service and Blaker roads Tuesday, March 21.
Officer Charles Rushing spotted Gayle's erratic behavior at 12:44 p.m. and pulled him over. Immediately the officer suspected Gayle was intoxicated. Rushing asked Gayle if he had been drinking and he admitted he started drinking at 4 a.m. Officer Rushing determined that the driver was under the influence of an alcohol. He was booked for reckless driving and driving under the influence.
