Ceres Police took into custody a 66-year-old Ceres resident on an arrest warrant on Friday morning as he was leaving a park restroom.

Officer Eric Souza was patrolling Smyrna Park at 7:40 a.m. when he spotted David Marsh leaving the restroom. Officer Souza was familiar with Marsh being wanted on an outstanding felony warrant related to theft and drug related charges and arrested him. Marsh was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
