After running his Honda Civic into a parked car, teen driver David Jimenez, 19, of Modesto, was released to family members early Saturday with a citation to face charges of driving under the influence. 

At 12:07 a.m. Officer Matthew Johnson was dispatched to the 2500 block of River Road where Jimenez had collided with a parked Ford F-150 pickup. Officer Johnson noticed that Jimenez displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol/ and or drugs. A DUI investigation was conducted, and the David was arrested for driving under the influence. Jimenez submitted to a breath test and was found to have over twice the legal amount of alcohol in his system. 

Jimenez was issued a citation and he was released to family members who arrived on scene.
