Two persons went to jail early Monday after they were found with drugs inside of a car believed to be stolen but not reported as such at the time of the arrest.

At 12:05 a.m. someone called 911 from the 7-Eleven at Mitchell and Service roads about a parked 2012 Chrysler 200 with several open alcoholic containers in sight. An officer stopped the car as it was leaving the parking lot. A false license plate was affixed to the back and the back window had been broken out. The officer found a few grams of methamphetamine and arrested driver Tina Valenzuela, 39, of Modesto, on charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He also arrested John Walker, 35, of Modesto, on a no-bail warrant.
