Drug-crazed man dances on patrol car, fights female officer
Ceres Cop Car

A drug-crazed man was arrested Friday evening after he walked into and yelled at Herndon Road traffic and then jumped atop of a Ceres Police car.

Officer Jessica Graham was dispatched to the 7-Eleven at 1305 Herndon Avenue at 11:12 p.m. to check out reports of a man hitting items inside the store and threatening to hit customers. Bradley McDonald, 24, of Modesto, was located standing in the middle of Herndon yelling at cars and walking in front of them. Graham drove up to McDonald and he jumped up on the hood and began to yell and flop around. Graham held McDonald at gunpoint and commanded him to get on the ground but McDonald took off running. Graham gave chase and caught McDonald who continued to resist. She struck McDonald with her baton to gain compliance. Sgt. Jose Berber arrived to assist taking McDonald into custody.

McDonald was babbling, unable to keep still and unable to answer questions. He later said he had used meth earlier in the evening.

McDonald was arrested and booked for being under the influence of drugs or alcohol and resisting arrest.
