Security guards at a Mitchell Road industrial complex asked a trespasser to leave Tuesday evening, April 23 but he grew hostile and wanted to fight. That caused them to use pepper spray on him and summon police who arrested him on multiple charges.

At 11:51 p.m., Sgt. Keith Griebel was flagged down by the security guards in the 1400 block of Mitchell Road and directed him to Michael Bailey, 42, of Ceres, who was pacing back and forth near them. It was learned that Bailey, who was detained, had an outstanding theft related arrest warrant. A search turned up methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Bailey. He was arrested and booked for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and the outstanding warrant.
