An intoxicated Stockton man was arrested Saturday, Aug. 4 in the 1300 block of Angie Way after a citizen reported a man and woman arguing in the road near an abandoned car.

Police were called at 11:44 p.m. and found Miguel Ortega, 19, of Stockton, intoxicated and unable to care for his self. Officers believed Ortega was driving the car and collided with something, due to his bumper lying in the street. However, since no one saw him behind the wheel police could not arrest him for DUI but he was arrested for public intoxication.
