After seeing a Chevy Malibu swerving between the two northbound lanes of Mitchell Road on Sunday, Officer Adam Hall made a traffic stop and ended up arresting the driver for DUI.

The traffic, which occurred at 9:50 p.m. north of Whitmore Avenue, ended with the arrest of David Tafoya, 39, of Modesto. He reeked of alcohol and displayed symptoms of intoxication. At the conclusion of the DUI investigation, Tafoya was placed under arrest for DUI. His blood alcohol level was found to be over twice the legal limit.
