Oscar Tuminlopez, 22, of Modesto, was booked Saturday for driving under the influence after Ceres Police Officer Vince Hooper spotted him driving at night without headlights operating and driving in the opposite direction of traffic on Whitmore Avenue.

The officer saw the violations at 11:11 p.m. and pulled over Tuminlopez, who appeared to be intoxicated.

Tuminlopez was also charged with driving under the influence with a Blood Alcohol Concentration above .08 percent and driving without a license.
