Humberto Sanchez, 28 of Modesto, was arrested for DUI during a Monday evening traffic stop for code violations.

At 10:25 p.m., Officer Samuel Garcia was patrolling the area of Richland and Nadine avenues when he stopped a white-colored Ford F150 pickup. As he spoke to Sanchez, Officer Garcia detected the odor of alcohol and that he displayed signs of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Sanchez was given field sobriety tests which indicated he was under the influence of alcohol. Sanchez was arrested for DUI, and later gave a breath sample that was nearly three times the legal limit for an adult. Sanchez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
