After running into a parked car, an allegedly inebriated Ceres man was arrested early Monday in the 1700 block of Evans Road.

Police were called at 12:28 a.m. about a Kia Sedona hitting a parked vehicle and suspicions that the driver, Andy Landeros, 33 of Ceres, was drunk. Officer Krandall Vandagriff arrived on scene and found Landeros still sitting in the driver’s seat showing signs and symptoms of someone under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

After failing field sobriety tests, Landeros was arrested for DUI and later gave a breath sample showing he had a blood alcohol content over three times the legal limit.
