A Livingston man who had an arrest warrant relating to embezzlement charge was picked up by Ceres Police early Friday morning.

At 1:10 a.m. Officer Samuel Garcia was patrolling the area of Whitmore Avenue and Sixth Street when he stopped the driver of a Ford Ranger for vehicle code violations. A routine records check revealed that Eligio Hernandez, 25, had the outstanding felony warrant. He was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
