A Ceres man was arrested on drug charges on Thursday morning after he first lied about his true identity during a bike stop in the 3300 block of Central Ave.

At 7:32 a.m. Officer Michael Vierra conducted a bike stop on Sean Davis, 38, of Ceres. He knew Davis' true name but the suspect gave his brother's name. Davis was searched and found with methamphetamine. He was booked for possession of methamphetamine and giving a false identity to an officer.
