A 22-year-old homeless man with a history of vehicular burglary was back in jail early Thursday after he was spotted walking across someone’s front lawn in the neighborhood of Roeding Road near Barry Court.

Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the residential area at 2:31 a.m. when he recognized Nicholas Ramos, 22, from prior contacts. After stopping Ramos the officer learned that the suspect had three warrants for his arrest for thefts. Ramos is also suspected in a recent theft in Ceres. Souza arrested Ramos and booked him for the warrants.
