A Hughson man with a history of carrying a concealed knife and attempted robbery was apprehended as he was walking down the street on Tuesday evening, Sept. 19.

At 7:33 p.m. Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the 900 block of Hatch Road when he spotted Kevin Savage, 33, of Hughson, with whom he was familiar, walking down the sidewalk. Souza was aware that Savage had two outstanding felony arrest warrants relating to the concealed dagger and attempted robbery. He approached Savage and arrested him and booked him into the county jail.
