A 58-year-old man who was intoxicated and created a disturbance at a Mitchell Road business and allegedly threw a rock at the business owner was arrested Monday evening on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and violation of parole.

Officers were dispatched at 7:30 p.m. to the 1800 block of Mitchell Road where Todd Hunter was being aggressive with customers and who had struck the owner of the business with a rock. A description of him was given to officers and Officer Jonathan Blount located him in the 1700 block.

Hunter appeared to be intoxicated and was positively identified as the suspect. He was taken to jail and booked.
